报告内容简介: Current Internet of Things (IoT) is experiencing a significant change to be empowered by AI (Artificial Intelligence) in all aspects including the data collection, data fusion, data analysis and the autonomous decision making. The traditional Internet of Things (IoT) will need to be reconsidered for the adaptation of machine learning and AI techniques for the seamlessly integration for its functions and services. This talk will introduce some current research projects conducted in the University of Queensland by Prof Xue Li and his research team. We will discuss on how machine learning and AI will be used in the front-end IoT applications and how the IoT architecture is adapted to the machine learning and AI technologies. 报告人简介: Dr. Xue Li is a Professor in School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, the University of Queensland in Australia. Dr Xue Li’s work on Big Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence has attracted wide attentions. For example, he was listed as one of 50“The Most Powerful people in Australia" on Big Data by the Financial Review - the Power Issue 2015; the Microsoft Start Up Q Award 2014, Winner of the Best use of Open Data–QLD Premier’s Awards for Open Data 2014. His research interests are in distributed database management, data analytics, and intelligent information systems. He is an Associate Editor of Journal of Advanced Internet of Things. He also was an Editor on Board of International Journal of Management of Information Systems & Technology. He has over 300 publications as monograph, edited books, book chapters, and journal and conference papers. His Google h-Index is 55, with 11,200 citations. |
